Description
For those who love a good murder mystery board game, the Clue Game is a classic whodunit that’s perfect for beach house entertainment when you’re not out enjoying the sand, sun, and water. The objective is to determine who murdered Mr. Boddy in his mansion, which room the crime took place in, and which weapon was used. Strategy, deduction, and careful observation are key to solving the mystery before your opponents.
Each player assumes the role of one of six suspects and moves strategically around the mansion game board, collecting clues and making suggestions to uncover the truth. Was it Plum with the wrench in the library? Or Green with the candlestick in the study? Every turn brings new suspicions and revelations as players eliminate possibilities to crack the case.
Originally devised in 1943 by Anthony E. Pratt of Birmingham, England, Clue was first manufactured by Waddingtons in 1949 and is currently owned and published by Hasbro. The game includes 1 gameboard, 6 tokens, 6 miniature weapons, 30 cards, 1 case file envelope, detective notebook sheets, 2 dice, and instructions. Designed for 2–6 players ages 8 and up, Clue is a must-have mystery board game for any beach house game closet.
