This sunscreen lotion is described as lightweight and fast absorbing, designed for comfortable wear during everyday sun exposure and outdoor activities. It is also water resistant for 75 minutes, helping support use at the beach or during time outdoors where water resistance is important.

NO-AD is described as hypoallergenic and reef (relatively) safe because it has no octinoxate and oxybenzone, but it still contains octocrylene. Directions are included for straightforward use: apply liberally at least 10 minutes before sun exposure. The product is available in SPF 30 and SPF 50 Sport, letting shoppers choose between two levels of sun protection depending on preference.

SPF references are provided for both versions.
